Jorge Díaz Composer
Venezuelan composer based in Madrid, he has written works for orchestra, chamber music and solo instruments premiered in the United States, Greece, Spain and Venezuela, some of them have been published by Cayambis Music Press, Copistas Acuario and Babel Scores.

In the search for his own language as a composer, he has been interested in mathematical logical elements as part of the creative process. In addition to exploring the relationship between music and concepts of the visual arts in recently created works such as Vitrales (For string quartet, composed and premiered at the Artistic Residence of the Antonio Gala Foundation in 2022) or Implosión (For symphony orchestra, selected for the Composition Workshop of the Galicia's Real Filharmonía in 2024) approaching ideas such as light, color, texture or space and its relationship with sound
